Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a SaaS Security Posture Management Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate with experience implementing and managing enterprise data security controls, integrations, and posture management solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.

Rate Range: $36/hour to $38/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SaaS Security Posture Management Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Implement, configure, and support Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.

  • Onboard, integrate, and manage data sources using security platforms to enable data discovery, classification, monitoring, and policy enforcement.

  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize security tool configurations to ensure stable and secure operations.

  • Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise platforms, including CMDB, ITAM, SIEM/SOAR, data catalog, and security analytics solutions.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to identify and mitigate data security risks while supporting compliance and governance requirements.

  • Create operational documentation, reports, and metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data protection capabilities and security posture.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Security, or a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Data Security, Data Engineering, DSPM/SSPM platforms, or Security Operations environments.

  • Strong expertise in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), data discovery and classification, cloud security, enterprise security integrations, and regulatory compliance frameworks such as PCI, PII, and data governance standards.

  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), API integrations, Python scripting, SIEM/SOAR solutions, CMDB/ITAM integrations, and implementing enterprise-scale security controls across cloud and on-premises environments.

Pay Details: $36.00 to $38.00 per hour
