Position Type: Paid Internship | Academic Credit AvailableHours: 510 hours per week; additional hours required during event weeksTerm: August 2026 April 2027Reports To: Director of AthleticsAbout the Saints Athletic AssociationThe Saints Athletic Association (SAA) is the booster organization supporting Carroll College Athletics, specifically in the area of student-athlete scholarships. The SAA connects alumni, donors, and community members to Carrolls student-athlete experience through fundraising, events, and engagement initiatives that advance Saints Athletics' mission.Position OverviewThe SAA Operations & Marketing Intern will provide direct support to the day-to-day functions of the Saints Athletic Association. This position offers hands-on experience in nonprofit/booster organization operations, event management, donor communications, and sports marketing, making it an excellent opportunity for students pursuing careers in athletic administration, sports marketing, or nonprofit management.ResponsibilitiesEvent SupportAssist with planning and execution of signature SAA events, including the Rick Blessinger Memorial Golf Tournament, the Shindig, and the Annual Saints Athletic Association AuctionSupport event logistics, volunteer coordination, and day-of operationsLearn and utilize event-specific software platforms to support registration, auction management, bidding, and other operational functions as required by individual SAA eventsAssist with post-event follow-up, including donor acknowledgment and recap materialsMembership & CommunicationsOversee SAA membership registration processes and maintain accurate membership recordsServe as a point of contact for member inquiries and correspondenceAssist in drafting and distributing member communications, newsletters, and updatesMarketing & Digital ContentCreate and manage content for SAA social media platformsDesign graphics and promotional materials for events and membership campaignsAssist with updates and content management for the SAA websiteQualificationsRequiredCurrently enrolled at Carroll College with at least sophomore standingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesAvailability during evening and weekend events as scheduledPreferredExperience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)Interest in athletic administration, sports marketing, or nonprofit operationsPrior involvement with Carroll Athletics or campus organizationsCompensation & Academic CreditThis is a paid internship position.
