Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT/RT) or Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a flexible, field-based role with meaningful patient impact? We are looking for dependable professionals to provide in-home respiratory and medical equipment support to patients across Bryan, Texas. What You Will Do:
  • Conduct thorough in-home assessments to evaluate patients' respiratory therapy needs and equipment requirements.
  • Perform clinical setups of respiratory and medical devices, ensuring proper function and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, providing prompt support to maintain treatment efficacy.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use, cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of respiratory and medical equipment.
  • Provide critical equipment support, including ventilator setups and other life-support devices, during scheduled visits or as part of after-hours on-call support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare policies and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical team to report patient findings, concerns, and updates.

Work Schedule & Environment:
  • Flexible PRN / Per Diem schedule—no fixed hours, allowing you to choose when and where you work.
  • Field-based role requiring independent work across assigned patient zip codes.
  • On-call responsibilities as needed for critical setups and emergency support.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Per-service pay: $5–$100 per service setup (varies by complexity).
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel between patient locations.
  • Sign-On Bonus: $500 after you’ve completed the first 10 patient visits or 10 hours of service.
  • Additional Bonus: $1,000 after completing 50 patients visits or 100 hours of service.
  • Benefits: Eligibility varies; may include PTO, holiday pay, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, HSA/FSA options, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Qualifications:
  • Valid active license in Texas as an RRT, CRT, RT, or RN.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED; additional clinical education or licensure relevant to respiratory therapy or nursing.
  • Strong clinical assessment abilities and patient education skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing schedules, and handle a variety of medical equipment troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in home respiratory care or HME/DME.
  • Degree in respiratory therapy or nursing.
  • At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
  • Familiarity with ventilator equipment and advanced respiratory devices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting competencies.

Physical & Safety Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting and transport of patient equipment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and driving during visits.
  • Ability to read device screens and documentation clearly.
  • Potential exposure to infectious pathogens—must adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Compliance with respiratory protection standards, including medical evaluations and fit testing (e.g., N95 masks).
