What Youll Bring:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ER, Adult ICU, Med/Surg, and ICU/Stepdown units
- Expertise in airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABGs, O2 therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, Vest Therapy, Meta-neb, PAP therapy, and Heated High-flow systems
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records (EHR) system
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NC License, and RRT Credentials
- Willingness to work night shifts in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Ability to adhere to unit protocols and maintain patient safety at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
- NRP certification
- Experience with bronchoscopes
- Familiarity with specialized equipment such as Servo I & U, Hamilton T1, V60, VPAP, Omni-labs, V30s, and ABG analyzers
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Valid NC Respiratory Therapist License
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Prior experience in large respiratory departments highly preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Must work night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts from 6/3/2026 onward
- 4 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
- On-call availability as workload dictates
- No floating outside FMC facilities
- RTO requests limited to 7 days
- Ability to work within EPIC systems and adhere to safety protocols
