Join Our Team as a Compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN)!

Location: 2355 North Steves Boulevard, Flagstaff, AZ 86004
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Coverage Area: Northern Arizona (significant travel may be required)
On-Call: Rotation for pediatric discharges and critical respiratory needs
Preferred Commute: Within approximately 25 miles of Flagstaff

About the Role
Are you a dedicated healthcare professional passionate about providing exceptional in-home patient care? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver comprehensive respiratory and clinical services across Northern Arizona. This dynamic, autonomous role involves hands-on patient assessments, education, and respiratory equipment management—primarily supporting pediatric patients and those with complex respiratory needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough in-home clinical assessments and safety evaluations for pediatric and adult patients
  • Provide essential education to patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies, equipment operation, cleaning, and troubleshooting
  • Support pediatric respiratory services, including discharge planning, follow-up, and ongoing care
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory equipment, such as oxygen therapies, pulse oximeters, NIV, invasive and non-invasive ventilators, and respiratory assist devices
  • Adjust ventilator settings based on physician orders and established protocols (where applicable)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities, assessments, and interventions in accordance with healthcare standards
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent respiratory and pediatric equipment needs in the field
  • Support training and onboarding of new clinical team members as needed
Work Environment & Travel
  • This is a field-based role covering a vast geographic area in Northern Arizona; travel up to approximately 3 hours one-way may be necessary
  • Work involves navigating variable terrain and weather conditions at high altitudes, requiring physical endurance and adaptability
  • Independence is key, with collaboration across clinical, operational, and administrative teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel within the service region
  • Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 after 60 days of employment, with an additional $2,000 after 180 days

Qualifications & Skills
Required:
  • Valid Arizona licensure as RRT or RN
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional clinical education/licensure required)
  • Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email communication
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 65 lbs

Preferred:
  • Completion of an accredited respiratory care or nursing program
  • 1+ year of relevant clinical experience
  • Pediatric respiratory care experience
  • Background in home health or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) services
  • Comfort with medical terminology and patient education in a home setting
Physical & Safety Requirements
  • Frequent walking, standing, driving, and patient equipment handling
  • Ability to operate in high-altitude environments with variable weather
  • Close vision for inspecting small print on equipment and documentation
  • Potential exposure to contagious pathogens—must comply with infection control policies, including respiratory protection protocols (medical evaluation, fit testing, annual recertification)
