Round Table Pizza - Room Service Runner - Full Time & Part Time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collect orders from the kitchen, ensure they have been prepared correctly, promptly and efficiently deliver to the guest''''s room.
• Manage the kitchen Mobile order kiosk.
• Ensure orders are delivered accurately and in good condition, check for condiments, requests by guests that is noted on the ticket.
• Communicate any issues or delays that arise and resolve problems efficiently
• Aware of all amenities to ensure they are set-up and delivered on time.
• Consistently deliver courteous and professional service.
• Keep a track of delivery orders, fill out the log.
• Fill the to go area with silverware, soufflé cups, to go condiments.
• Daily inventory of paper goods and notify the MOD of items running low.
• Ensure room service area is clean, organized, and all equipment is functioning properly.
• Report any problems to the Restaurant/Room Service Manager.
• Work as backup personnel to pack takeout orders and deliver to the host desk.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Knowledge of and ability to identify menu products.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate a glassware washing machine and to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machines.
• Knowledge of the dish room, including separating silverware, dishes & glassware appropriately
• Candidate must be able to communicate in English, both in written and oral form.
• Ability of simple reading, math, writing and task completion skills is required.
• Must have the following skills: compiling, coordination, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

• Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking and frequently reaching overhead, bending over, kneeling, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50lbs frequently.
• The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and occasional light and firm/strong grasping motions.
• Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work performed indoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and other mechanical devices.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Team Member may be exposed to slippery surfaces, fumes/odor and secondhand smoke.
