Location: Wappingers Falls (or at site locations)
Schedule:  M-F, 8-5 (w/ flexibility based upon need)
Pay:  Starting $60,000/year

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial / Industrial Roofing Estimator to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing roofing project needs, preparing comprehensive bids, and collaborating closely with clients, suppliers, and project teams. Your expertise will help drive successful project outcomes by delivering precise estimates that balance quality, cost efficiency, and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to small-large scale roofing projects within the commercial and industrial sectors, ensuring each estimate aligns with project scope, budget, and timeline requirements.

Duties

• Review project plans, specifications, site conditions, and take-offs to develop accurate roofing estimates for commercial and industrial buildings
• Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground information, assess construction site conditions, and verify project requirements
• Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, and management.
• Prepare comprehensive cost analyses covering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor quotes, and overheads
• Manage bid timelines efficiently to ensure timely submission of proposals

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating software.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, roofing manufacturers and industry standards within the roofing sector
• Experience with construction site assessments and understanding of construction management principles
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and roof take offs
   

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years in Commercial/Industrial Estimating, with a proven track record in new business development.
• Experience in roofing.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Adhere to OSHA Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ability to climb ladders, handle heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.
