Roman Catholic Musician Pianist or Guitarist

The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and be responsible for the following:

Term

Base period of 12 months with two 12-month option periods. The contract may last up to 36 months if all options are exercised.

Personnel Qualifications

• Minimum one-year practical experience as a musician in Catholic worship music.
• Must be able to read music and be proficient in traditional and contemporary Catholic worship and music.
• Audition and interview required with Command Chaplain.

Location and Annual Schedule of Work

• Services for recruits: Sundays 8:00 AM–9:45 AM.
• Services for permanent personnel: Sundays 10:30 AM–11:30 AM.
• Up to 20 weekday services for major feasts/holy days: 11:30 AM–12:30 PM with two weeks’ notice.
• Up to 5 special services for each group.
• Locations: All Weather Training Facility, Depot Chapel, Recruit Chapel at MCRDPI.
