Roll-off drivers will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high-traffic roadways, and may operate in tight overhead environments while on industrial routes. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential to successfully perform this job. **USA Waste & Recycling is offering a sign-on bonus of up to \$3000, depending on experience.** **Why USA Waste & Recycling** - \$3000 sign-on bonus - Additional bonus potential - 401 (K), Roth, and Profit Sharing/Match Plans - Competitive compensation - Modern fleet with top technology - New truck fleet every 5 years - Excellent benefits package - Training and development opportunities with a growing, family-owned company. **Your Role:** - Operates vehicles in accordance with the Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal laws. - Performs pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and completes required paperwork. - Notifies the Route Manager or Dispatch of any customer complaints, incidents, on-site service issues, or potential safety hazards. - Communicates customer requests to the Route Manager or Dispatch. - Identifies and reports all containers in need of repair or replacement. - Performs all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch and assists other drivers as directed to meet customer needs. - Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards. - Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs **Your Skills:** - Customer-focused. - Safety knowledgeable and focused - Professional in appearance and demeanor - Respectful of Company vehicles and equipment - Quality-oriented - Reliable and dependable - Able to adapt to changing work requirements on a daily/hourly basis. - Exceptional driving skills - Ability to read and write logs, reports, orders, and maps.
