Roll Forming and Press Machine Technician

A day in the life
Whether you prefer mornings, afternoons, or overnights, your shift has a rhythm. You’ll arrive, review work instructions, and complete safety checks before setting up roll formers, presses, and related equipment. Throughout the day, you’ll make basic adjustments, load materials, keep pace with production targets, and rotate between operator stations to maintain workflow across the plant. When priorities shift, you’ll jump in to support adjacent areas to keep operations moving.
Where and when you’ll work
- Location: Minova — Tooele, Utah
- Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
- Shift times:
- 1st: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
- 2nd: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
- 3rd: 10:30 pm – 7:00 am
- Pay: $22/hr. + shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Target start dates: July, August, September
What you’ll do
- Operate and monitor roll formers, presses, and other manufacturing machinery safely.
- Perform basic equipment setup and minor adjustments to sustain production flow.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods efficiently.
- Maintain the pace required to meet daily and weekly output goals.
- Cross-train and work in various production roles (including roll forming) to maximize flexibility.
- Support other departments/processes to ensure continuous operations.
- Rotate across multiple operator stations as production needs change.
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience (preferred).
- Comfort operating machinery and performing physical work in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic mechanical aptitude, including the ability to change wires or minor components.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions consistently.
- Strong commitment to safety and product quality.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
