The ROI Representative is responsible for the coordination and processing of health information requests. This position receives requests for health information and ensures access to pertinent medical record information in accordance with state and federal disclosure laws. This caregiver interacts with a variety of requestors to include but not limited to patients, payors, and physician offices, ensures requested documentation is released, and handles inquiries in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications: 2 years knowledge of medical terminology. 2 years electronic medical record system experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Health Information Technology. Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - American Health Information Management Association 2 years experience in an acute care or medical practice Health Information Management environment.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidates placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
