DPS is now hiring a ROI/Material Handler for a Facility in Springfield, MO. Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.
Job Details:
Location: 2909 N. Neergard Ave. Springfield, MO 65803
Schedule: 9:00am - 7:00pm | Sunday - Friday with Saturday and 1 day off in the middle of the week.
Starting Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hourly (based on experience)
Temporary to hire
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, stock, and replenish inventory throughout the warehouse
- Select, pack, and route customer orders to the appropriate staging or shipping areas
- Verify product quantities, labels, and inventory accuracy during order fulfillment
- Maintain inventory integrity and report discrepancies when identified
- Utilize warehouse management systems and computer applications to process inventory transactions
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials throughout the facility
- Follow established warehouse procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate inventory, product, or operational issues to leadership promptly
- Support team operations and perform additional duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Requirements:
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds.
- Follow written instructions and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work for extended periods in a warehouse environment preparing and loading freight.
- Demonstrated mathematical ability and accurate counting skills.
- Basic computer skills and keyboard proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Job Preferences:
- 1-2+ years of warehouse, distribution, inventory, or material handling experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
- Experience handling lot-controlled and expiration-dated products.
- Forklift and rider pallet jack experience.
