Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our Greer team as a(n):

Robotic Technician 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, program, and maintain industrial robots and automation systems

  • Troubleshoot robotic, electrical, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on robotic equipment

  • Diagnose faults in PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and servo systems

  • Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment failures

  • Modify and optimize robot programs to improve cycle time and quality

  • Ensure all systems operate in compliance with safety standards and company policies

  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates

  • Assist with new equipment launches, testing, and commissioning

  • Collaborate with engineering and continuous improvement teams on process enhancements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or automated environment

  • Strong understanding of robotic systems

  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting

  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

  • Knowledge of sensors, motors, drives, and control systems
