Statement of Work — Roadway Engineer EI
Full-service, multi-disciplined firm in Longwood, FL. Entry Level Roadway Engineering Intern with EI License to join Roadway Team. 1-4 years experience.
Responsibilities
- Assisting Professional Engineers in development of conventional roadway plan sets for FDOT and City/County clients
- Work with experienced Engineers and Project Managers to develop accurate design
- Developing 2D & 3D models for roadway design projects meeting FDOT submittal standards
- Prepare submittal packages for agency permitting and phased review submittals
- Stay up to date with industry trends and CAD technology
- Assist Senior Engineers/Project Managers in project duties
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution
- 0-4 years post-graduation experience with geometric layout of intersections and roadways
- Engineering Intern (EI) License required
- Working knowledge of FDOT, AASHTO, and MUTCD standards
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Preferred: MicroStation, Open Roads Designer Connect Edition, Microsoft Office 365
