We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Care Representative to support our transportation and logistics operations. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of customer freight. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is driven to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

How you create impact

• Source and secure drayage carriers for both new and existing business needs
• Coordinate timely pickups and deliveries of customer shipments
• Dispatch carriers with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Evaluate routing options to ensure on-time delivery while maximizing profitability
• Maintain and update customer and carrier profiles in Kuehne + Nagel's operating system (SoftModal)
• Handle inbound and outbound communication with customers and carriers
• Negotiate rates with carrier partners to achieve cost-efficient solutions
• Collaborate with operations teams and account managers to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Identify and resolve issues, acting as a solutions provider for customers and partners

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience in intermodal operations or transportation industry
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
