Job Overview:

We’re seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for wound care to join our dedicated clinical team. In this role, you won’t just treat wounds—you’ll help restore comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients every step of their healing journey. Our Midtown Wound Center has been awarded the Advanced Wound Care Certification with Distinction from ACHC.  This recognition means the team exceeds the highest standards in wound care, going above and beyond basic accreditation requirements. This position is located at our Midtown Wound Care Clinic in Evansville, IN.

Wound Care: Chronic wounds cause an economic burden to the patient and the healthcare system.  It is important to treat wounds and their underlying causes to avoid costly hospitalizations, amputations, and pre-mature death.  The Wound Care Center treats patients with diagnosis such as pressure injuries, burns, lacerations, venous and arterial disease, post-operative wound dehiscence, diabetic foot ulcers and ostomy education.  Many patients have limited mobility and require multiple staff members to transfer, turn, and ambulate.

Certificates or Licenses:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state. Required
  • Basic Life Support: Health Care Provider, within six months of hire. Required

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate from a school of professional nursing. Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing (BSN) Preferred
  • No experience required if graduate from a nationally accredited school of professional nursing or
  • Minimum of one-year relevant experience in professional nursing if graduate from a non-nationally accredited school of professional nursing. Required

Shift: Days, Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm

Hours: Approximately 8-20 hours per week (PRN position)
