RN – WOMEN’S SERVICES (Special Care Nursery) Level 2 or above Experience POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: - Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development and the care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
- Conducts and documents nursing assessments through the collection and analysis of data.
- Develops and revises the individualized plans of care based on assessment, desired outcome, and knowledge.
- Demonstrates ability to perform technical skills and procedures related to high risk newborn events
- Provides patient/family education based on plan of care and identified needs.
- Promotes customer service initiatives.
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: - Current RN licensure
- Current BLS/ACLS/NRP (or obtain prior to the completion of orientation)
- Current STABLE (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Current De-escalation training (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Level 1: Basic Neonatal Care (obtain prior to the completion of orientation)
- High Risk RN Only - Level 2 Neonatal Care: Beyond Basics (obtain prior to the completion of orientation)
- Annual Maternal/Neonatal simulations per policy
