Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40/week. (The Center/Facility has not approved more than 40 Guaranteed Hours in a week for this job assignment. No OT hours.)

Job Duties
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring that patient care is delivered effectively and efficiently.
Develop and implement nursing unit policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Manage the nursing staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and scheduling shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate the healthcare services provided to patients.
Monitor the nursing unit's budget, managing expenses and resources to ensure financial viability.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among nursing staff and between the nursing unit and other departments within the healthcare facility.
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the nursing unit, ensuring a positive working environment.
Participate in committees or projects aimed at improving patient care, nursing practices, or operational efficiency within the healthcare facility.
