Required Experience:
Nurse unit managers oversee all aspects of operating a unit, from supervising nursing staff to monitoring patient care. They need extensive clinical experience, prior administrative experience, and training in both nursing and management. Strong communication skills, diplomacy and the ability to take leadership of any situation. Applicants must have a valid RN nursing license in good standing with the State of Ohio. Previous experience in the long term care environment is required.
