Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Float Pool position. The RN will provide safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care across various units while working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and holistic patient assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes or abnormal findings.
• Administer and delegate nursing care according to physician orders and hospital policies.
• Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations.
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and provide effective handoffs.
• Initiate discharge planning and coordinate appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Ohio RN License or Compact License required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Diploma of Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to provide age- and culturally appropriate patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse healthcare environment.
