Required Skills:
- Active RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
- Proficiency in caring for IMCU patients
- BLS/ARC-BLS certification (current or willing to obtain)
- ACLS/ARC-ALS certification (current or willing to obtain within 180 days)
- Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Basic computer skills and technological proficiency to support clinical care
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and respond decisively in emergencies
- Critical thinking and evidence-based nursing practices
- Effective time management in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with telemetry or critical care settings
- Prior experience with hospital electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Advanced certifications or specialized training in nursing
- Experience working flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing (required)
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience, especially in telemetry or IMCU units
Other Requirements:
- Shifts available: 2PM-2AM or 1AM-1PM; flexibility to work varying days
- Every third weekend work and minimum two major, two minor holidays
- Must be willing to work variable days of the week
- All travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements applicable
- A completed Wellstar cover sheet required for submission
