Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The RN Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the clinical staff (MA, LVN, RN) in the assigned community practice.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee daily clinical operations, including supply management and workflow coordination, to ensure efficient clinic performance.
  • Provide triage support and direct patient care as needed to maintain safe and timely service delivery.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor clinical staff; conduct training, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing, onboarding, and developing new clinical team members.
  • Work alongside providers and clinical staff on the floor, assisting with procedures, medication verification for MA staff, rooming patients, and conducting nurse visits.
  • Ensure clinical workflows, processes, and equipment remain compliant, safe, and aligned with regulatory and organizational standards in collaboration with Ambulatory Nursing leadership.
  • Monitor operational efficiency to reduce overtime, decrease patient wait times, and improve overall patient, staff, and provider satisfaction.

Salary Range: $128,500 - $298,100 annually

Job Qualifications

  • Current California RN License
  • BSN or MSN with 2 years of recent experience
  • 3 years of recent ambulatory experience, preferably in an urgent care or emergency department setting (staff nurse/charge nurse/manager)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
