The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director, may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit-specific patient population.
REQUIRED
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact NLCeNLC or Multistate license.
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Associations Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
PREFERRED
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
