Craniofacial Center
Registered Nurse Specialist will :
Possess specialized knowledge and skills to support care coordination within a multidisciplinary pediatric craniofacial program in an outpatient setting. Will provide clinical assessment, patient advocacy, education, and serve as a primary point of contact for patients and families.
Coordinate care plans, referrals, and longitudinal follow-up across multiple specialties to ensure continuity of care.
Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and ancillary services to support efficient, team-based care.
Support feeding and nutrition needs of the craniofacial population, including infant feeding support, with training provided.
Assist with clinical workflows, patient tracking, and follow-up to ensure adherence to care plans.
This is NOT a bedside position; this role is primarily focused on coordinating and managing care plans between our pediatric population and a multidisciplinary team. Hands-on care is very limited."
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. One year of specialty experience or two years of ambulatory care or hospital-based experience \ preferred. Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse. Certification in area of specialty preferred. Proven ability to multitask, problem solve, and be a team player is essential. Outstanding patient/customer service skills, verbal clarity, exceptional cognitive abilities, team focus, and problem solving skills are required for the ideal candidate.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose. Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse. Basic Life Support certification required or obtained within the first month of employment. BLS certification must be obtained through AHA or Red Cross.
