About the Role** The **School Registered Nurse (RN)** plays a vital role in supporting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students. You'll respond to medical needs, manage chronic conditions, promote health and safety, and serve as a trusted liaison between families, school staff, and healthcare providers. This is a meaningful, relationship-driven role where your clinical expertise directly impacts student success. What You'll Do** + **Apply the full nursing process** in a school setting + Promote student health, safety, and wellness + Respond to medical emergencies and urgent health needs + Manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, seizure disorders) + Provide medication administration and treatment per physician orders + Support students' emotional and mental well-being + Communicate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers + Maintain documentation in accordance with district and Amergis standards **?? Minimum Requirements** + Current **Registered Nurse (RN)** license in the state of employment + Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred + School Nurse Certification (if required by state/contract) + One year of school nursing, public health, or pediatric experience preferred + CPR certification (if applicable) + TB test or chest X-ray (as required) + Health certificate (as required) + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years old **??
