Job Summary
The RN Robotic Coordinator is responsible for daily operations and administrative leadership within the robotic OR. The coordinator has 24 hour responsibility for the overall planning, organization, direction and evaluation of the Robotic Surgery Program(s) including assisting with strategic and operational planning for the robotics program development. Responsible for educating, guiding, coaching, and evaluating the work performance of the direct patient care staff in the Robotic OR's. The coordinator is responsible for staff education, coordinating and supporting surgeon robotic education. The coordinator is responsible for facilitating the schedule of robotic surgery patients and surgeons in the OR, provides education for staff working in the Robotic Surgery services, develops competencies for staff in this highly specialized area, and works with surgeons and surgeon's office staff to fill dedicated Robotic Surgery Block Time. The RN Robotic Coordinator demonstrates ongoing collaboration with other patient care departments/areas that relate directly or indirectly to patient care operations and services.
