RN, Registered Nurse | Adult Neurology Clinic

Location: East Building, 3rd Floor | La Crosse, WI

FTE: 0.6 (48 hours per two weeks)

Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM | 8-hour shifts with rotating days off

Starting Pay: $30.46/hour (additional compensation based on experience)

About the Role

Join our Adult Neurology Clinic team, where curiosity, collaboration, and compassionate care come together. In this role, youll support adult patients across multiple neurology subspecialties, working closely with providers in a pod-based care model. This is a unique opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients while developing specialized knowledge in a highly dynamic field. With a blend of patient interaction and care coordination, this role is ideal for nurses who enjoy both clinical variety and critical thinking.

What Youll Do

  • Perform telephone triage and manage MyChart in-basket messages

  • Deliver patient education on neurological conditions, treatments, and medications

  • Support in-office procedures such as Botox preparation, injections, and skin biopsy assistance

  • Conduct nurse-only visits, including MoCA memory screenings

  • Assist with specialty medication enrollment and coordination of care

  • Collaborate closely with providers while supporting clinic flow and patient experience

What Were Looking For

Must-Have:

  • Current RN license to practice in Wisconsin

  • Current InfantAdult BLS for Health Care Providers

  • Strong communication, empathy, and patient education skills

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving specialty

Preferred:

  • Prior nursing experience (clinic or medical/surgical preferred)

  • Interest in or desire to learn neurology

  • Experience with Epic/MyChart and triage workflows
