Location: St. Anthonys Hospital - Neuro ICU - St. Petersburg, Florida Status: Full Time Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Every other weekend requirement On Call: No Always in person

Requirements -------------
• RN Registered Nurse License • RN Professional nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice - CCRN CDN or CNN • Bachelors Degree in Nursing OR BS Healthcare related field OR an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire • Promotion • 2-years RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
Charge Registered Nurse - ICU Responsibilities and Skills --------------------------------------------------------
Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
Responsibilities:
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team • Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care • Monitor record and update care team on patient vitals and assessments • Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patients medical condition • Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients • Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge • High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient • Professional accountability and development • Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team • Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information
