HCA Healthcare has committed up to 300 million in programs to support our incredible team members over the course of three years.Job Summary and QualificationsThe RRT RN will support the mission vision and values of the organization while performing direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act with emphasis on the acute and critically ill patient. The RRT RN will organize implement modify evaluate document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will be individualized family centered and holistic. The RRT RN will maintain a safe and therapeutic environment participate in MCL initiatives and process improvement maintain high-quality age specific care for the adult population. The RRT RN will support care delivery with a focus on the deteriorating andor high-risk patient evaluate and intervene for said patients according to the guidelines approved by the Medical Executive Committee. The RRT RN will assess organize intervene and evaluate when there is a change in condition and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team which may include performing ACLSBLS according to the guidelines recommended by the American Red Cross. The RRT RN may assume responsibilities and roles of the House Supervisor per training and competency. RNs are responsible for providing care that is appropriate to the patients age specificadolescent adult and geriatric patientsdevelopmental and safety needs of the assigned patient population. In addition to the RN duties and responsibilities the RN scope includes charge duties. The charge nurse makes patient assignments supervises and directs the staff and unit activities for the assigned shift.
