Job Description:

Schedule: Monday-Friday business hours (flexible

Travel among clinics in Chicago area

Develops, reviews, implements, assesses, and enforces standard operating procedures, systems, procedures, and policies for AHMG practices. Partners with the Education and Training team to develop and teach new and ongoing training programs, curriculum, and skills fairs. Collaborates with outside vendors to provide practice staff with in-service training on new or updated equipment. Acts as a liaison for Infection Prevention, Safety, and Employee Health programs. Oversees compliance with various Federal and State programs such as Vaccine for Children (VFC and Biomedical Waste. Collaborates with the risk management team to review, research, investigate, and formulate risk reduction strategies, policies, and organizational changes. Serves as a clinical advisor and chair for design and construction meetings for practice moves, acquisitions, and new practices. Communicates with high-level executives to relay clinical information as it pertains to their downline. Collaborates with practice leaders to educate and guide staff on patient and staff safety and quality. Works with internal teams to make clinical decisions and develop solutions for improving clinical workflow and processes related to quality and safety. Performs continuous quality improvement monitoring and compile data for reporting to develop and implement quality action plans. Creates continuous improvement plans focusing on enhancing patient safety, implementing risk reduction strategies, and improving infection prevention. Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

  • 1+ clinical nursing experience [Required]
  • 2+ clinical nursing experience [Preferred]
  • 2+ experience in one of the following areas: clinical nursing, or other clinical/hospital specialty [Preferred]
  • Prior experience in a physician office [Preferred]
  • Prior experience with Performance Improvement, Quality Assessment and Assurance, and Regulatory Compliance [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN [Required]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS [Required]
