Job Description:
- Facilitates compliance with regulations and policies using PI processes. Demonstrates Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, cooperation, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity when interacting with co-workers, physicians, and colleagues.
- Promotes compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and state and federal regulations through quality management activities.
- Facilitates organizational compliance with required data reporting through chart reviews and data extraction.
- Promotes improved care outcomes and compliance with quality metrics. Explores opportunities for performance improvement through various activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Word processing (PC applications skills, able to prepare reports and simple tables [Required]
- Ability to facilitate teams in a continuous quality improvement environment [Required]
Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
Work Experience:
- 2+ years experience with advanced pc applications preferred (spreadsheet and graphics [Preferred]
- 2+ years experience with data analysis and interpretation [Preferred]
- 2+ years quality improvement experience [Preferred]
- 2+ years of rn experience in health care [Preferred]
- 2+ years prior work experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital [Required]
- Experience with team facilitation in a continuous quality improvement environment [Required]
- Prior experience in quality management and/or utilization/resource management activities such as chart reviews, data extraction, data collation, data analysis [Required]
