Join Our Team as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center!

What You’ll Need:
  • Valid RN license in your state or multi-state compact license (RN-COMPACT).
  • Current BLS certification; PALS certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency with technology to support clinical care.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively in emergencies.
  • Clinical experience or recent completion of accredited nursing program with requisite clinical hours. Less than 1 year of experience preferred.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Epic electronic health record experience.
  • Experience in pediatric or intensive care settings.
  • Additional certifications related to pediatric or critical care.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
  • Recent graduates or nurses with less than one year of direct patient care experience in a critical care environment.

Other Requirements:
  • Night shift availability (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM).
  • Willingness to obtain required certifications if not already held.
  • Must be available to start on or after 03/23/2026.
  • Contract duration is initially 8 weeks, beginning after 09/27.
  • Licensure, travel and other reimbursements as applicable, with a supportive team dedicated to your success.
  • RTO requests limited to 3 days; block scheduling not available.
