JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Supervises RNs, LPNs, NAs, UCs and other Patient Care Services Employees; responsible to Clinical Director.
DEFINITION OF POSITION
The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
Current PALS or obtain within 6 months of employment.
Current AHA BLS certification required.
Current NRP on hire or obtain within 6 months of employment.
Professional certification preferred.
ACLS certification within 6 months of hire if applicable.
Ability to provide care based on age, developmental status and socioeconomic need.
