RN - PCU

RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Contract)

Location: Arizona 85006
Duration: 13 Weeks (11 May 2026 – 08 Aug 2026)
Pay: $2,108 – $2,365/week

Schedule

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• 3 x 12-hour shifts (typical 36 hrs/week)

• Weekend and holiday coverage required

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide PCU-level care using nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate)

• Monitor and manage moderately acute patients (cardiac, respiratory, post-critical)

• Administer medications, drips, and treatments as ordered

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and supervise support staff

• Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes

• Educate patients/families and support discharge planning

Requirements

• Education & Experience:

  • BSN – Preferred

  • PCU/Stepdown or acute care experience

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • Active Arizona RN License – Required

  • BLS – Required

  • ACLS – Typically required for PCU settings
