We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide exceptional recovery care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Required Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU or critical care experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and healthcare software
- Strong communication skillsverbal and written
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to assess patient needs effectively and adapt care accordingly
- Leadership qualities in delegating and managing team resources
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area (e.g., CCRN, CNOR)
- Additional language skills
- Experience with high-acuity patient populations
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Over 2 years of specialized PACU experience or related critical care background
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work a 12-hour shift from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM
- Ability to handle exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases
- Candidate must meet physical demands, including lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds and working in physically demanding environments
- Willingness to adhere to all safety and regulatory protocols, including OSHA standards
