Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - OTP / Outpatient Clinic for an exciting opportunity in Juneau, AK.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications safely according to provider orders and clinic protocols
- Manage OTP medication workflows and controlled substance inventory
- Maintain medication room operations including opening and closing procedures
- Perform point-of-care testing and quality control checks
- Document all patient care accurately within the electronic health record
- Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
- Provide patient and family education regarding medications and treatment plans
- Coordinate care with providers, pharmacy, and clinic staff
- Support infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance standards
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Experience with medication administration or clinic-based workflows preferred
- Strong EMR documentation skills
- Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making abilities
- Medication safety and controlled inventory management skills
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Ability to manage fast-paced outpatient workflows efficiently
