What Youll Do

Provide expert nursing care to oncology patients, adhering to the nursing process and safety standards
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments as prescribed
Assess patient needs and develop care plans tailored to individual health conditions
Educate patients and families about treatment options and self-care practices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Document care provided accurately and timely in compliance with hospital standards
Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety protocols, including OSHA and OSHA-related standards

What You Need
Required:

Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
2+ years of recent experience in an oncology or acute care setting
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

Certification in chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration
Bachelors degree in Nursing
