What You’ll Do
  • Provide expert nursing care to oncology patients, adhering to the nursing process and safety standards
  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments as prescribed
  • Assess patient needs and develop care plans tailored to individual health conditions
  • Educate patients and families about treatment options and self-care practices
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Document care provided accurately and timely in compliance with hospital standards
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety protocols, including OSHA and OSHA-related standards

What You Need
Required:
  • Current RN license in Louisiana
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • 2+ years of recent experience in an oncology or acute care setting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:
  • Certification in chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
