The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.What qualifications you will need:Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Current Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Current Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) certification or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Current STABLE certification or must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date (RN) Registered NurseMinimum 3 years of NICU clinical nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management in an acute care Hospital setting HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children's Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is located on a 94-acre campus in Palm Beach County. The surrounding areas include Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee.
