HOW YOU''LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Responsible for directly supervising and managing RN/Assistant Nurse Managers in the inpatient units and on the behavioral emergency servicesteam.
- Oversees RN/Assistant Nurse Managers regarding staff training,staffing schedules, the hiring/termination process, patient flow, performance monitoring, and adherence with Behavioral Health Center (BHC) policies and procedures, The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and State of Florida licensure standards.
- Monitors nursing-related program performance metrics.
- Acts as a delegate in the Dir/Inpatient Services absence.
- Oversees nursing students in the inpatient units.
- Represents the BHC at hospital-wide nursing meetings (as directed).
- Promotes a consistent and consolidated direction in providing nursing care in accordance withnursing practice philosophy and ethical guidelines.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Associate''s Degree in Nursing
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor''s Degree in Nursing (Strongly Preferred)
Required Experience:
- Two (2) years of job-related leadership experience
Preferred Experience:
- Three (3) years progressively responsible administrative nursing experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure]
