JOB SUMMARY

Short Term Assignment from May 2026 through August 2026. Provides direct care to patients on Mother/Baby using the nursing process. Is responsible for managing care of assigned patients. Demonstrates ability to provide timely and efficient patient care to meet patient needs and expectations. Fosters an environment of teamwork and collaboration with staff members. Performs all duties and maintains standards in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or will obtain prior to working as a RN

Licensure: Current Georgia RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria professional licensure or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN. NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire. BLS/CPR required.

Experience: None.

Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia. Competency consistent with core nursing skills. Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and other associates throughout the organization in order to provide excellent care and maintain effective working relationships.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Works in a typical perinatal health care setting with neonates, adolescent and adult patients who may experience acute medical and/or surgical problems. Required to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Requires exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
