Are you looking for a fresh start in a brand-new department? We are seeking experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RNs to join our team in Edinburg, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your clinical expertise to a growing unit focused on high-quality patient outcomes and compassionate care.
You will be responsible for the total care of patients requiring cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical intervention. By applying your knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan, you will ensure that every patient receives age-appropriate and efficient care.
Key Duties:
Initial & Ongoing Assessment: Perform comprehensive review of systems and document nursing needs accurately.
Admission Excellence: Complete admission assessments within established timeframes according to policy.
Clinical Decision Making: Interpret patient information to determine and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
Care Delivery: Provide competent, caring, and efficient service to patients, families, and the community.
Clinical Experience:
Total RN Experience: Minimum of 2 years .
Specialty Experience: Minimum of 2 years specifically in Med/Surg Telemetry.
Systems: Proficiency with Cerner is required.
Education & Licensure:
Education: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN is highly desired.
License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas (or valid Compact license).

NIHSS (Required)
BLS (Required)
ACLS (Required)
Travel Requirement:
Radius Rule: To qualify for this contract role, candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
