What You’ll Do
  • Use the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care in the medical/surgical setting
  • Assess patient needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and relevant groups
  • Effectively communicate, delegate, and coordinate nursing team resources within the interdisciplinary team
  • Evaluate patient outcomes using data and nursing knowledge to drive improvements in care
  • Demonstrate leadership in maintaining accountability for quality and safety
  • Provide culturally sensitive, professional care that respects diverse backgrounds
  • Maintain compliance with applicable laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
What You Need
Required
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • 2+ years of RN experience

Preferred
  • Certification in a clinical specialty area
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
