Required Skills:
  • Valid RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and healthcare software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans
  • Knowledge of current federal, state, and local healthcare regulations

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Certification in clinical specialty areas (e.g., CCRN, CVRN)
  • Experience working in diverse or multicultural patient populations
  • Bilingual abilities to serve a broader patient demographic
  • Additional training or certifications in patient safety or quality improvement

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • 2+ years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience in a fast-paced setting
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work a night shift (12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 PM)
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with all healthcare laws and regulations
  • Physical ability to perform the demands of heavy work, including exerting force and working in a clinical environment with exposure to blood and body fluids
  • Certification in clinical specialties is a plus but not mandatory
  • Must adhere to all safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
