Job Title: RN Med Surg - EClient - FS
Location: Edmond, Oklahoma 73034
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Days, Full-Time, 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to assigned Med/Surg patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products.
- Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Monitor physiological status and intervene appropriately.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate patient care and make referrals as needed.
- Delegate tasks to nursing support staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in patient status.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of RN Med/Surg experience.
- Travel nursing experience required.
- Trauma experience required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
- Current Oklahoma RN License or Compact (eNLC) RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certification.
- Knowledge of professional nursing practices and patient care.
- Strong assessment, organization, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Preferences: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Experience working in a fast-paced acute care Med/Surg environment.
