Assists staff in using electronic quality management tools to evaluate treatment plans and ensure quality outcomes. *Uses chart audit reports to monitor adherence to documentation guidelines and assists staff in achieving documentation goals. *Provides support and information to the interdisciplinary team when problems arise with families, physicians, or other caregivers. *Serves as a role model by collaborating with staff and physicians. *Coordinates orientation of newly assigned staff with preceptors and facilitates clinical experiences. *Participates in the development and review of departmental policies and procedures, recommending revisions. *Acts on behalf of the Nurse Manager when necessary. *Performs other duties as assigned. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** • Mental and emotional stability, demonstrating a courteous and calm approach to all contacts with patients, visitors, and health care team members. [Required] • Mature judgment and the ability to handle confidential information within Florida Hospital guidelines and applicable regulations.
