A 330-bed acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center in Manchester, NH is seeking an RN Manager for its Trauma Program. The facility serves southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts and holds Level III Trauma Center designation.

The role. Reporting to the Trauma Medical Director, this manager leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of a cost-effective system of care for trauma patients and their families across the continuum. The position serves as the primary liaison between the hospital and external partners including EMS providers, Fire Services, Ambulance Services, Police, the EMS Medical Director, and NH State trauma authorities, participating on relevant committees as appropriate. The manager conducts concurrent monitoring and evaluation of the trauma system plan through ongoing review of trauma medical records, documents findings in the trauma registry, and identifies corrective action plans. Additional responsibilities include coordinating preparation for statewide and American College of Surgeons trauma system designation site visits, responding to trauma team activations during work hours, and overseeing the NH TEMSIS computerized Patient Care Reporting system for all services and patients transported to the facility.

What we're looking for.
  • Nursing degree required; BSN required
  • Minimum of three years caring for trauma patients required in an acute care setting — recent experience required
  • Current registration in the State of NH as a Registered Nurse
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required; CEN certified preferred

Schedule. Full-time, days, no weekends.

Compensation. $47.30 - $65.20/hr plus Sign-on bonus available
