Under general supervision works in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and other members of the multidisciplinary team to deliver elder centered care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to standards of practice, incorporating Eden Philosophy as part of our core values and practices. This position ensures smooth operational management and ensures a comprehensive approach to quality improvement and infection control at Providence Valdez Medical Center Long Term Care. Serves on the hospital executive team and plays an integral role in regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years Experience as an RN in a healthcare facility.
  • 1 year Long term care or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor''s Degree Related to health sciences field.
  • Experience managing programs or staff in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in human resource/organizational development and/or healthcare training.
  • Quality Improvement and Infection Control experience.

The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
