RN Manager – Labor & Delivery

Pay Range: $42.36/hr – $62.00/hr

Job Summary

A healthcare facility in South Florida is seeking an experienced RN Manager – Labor & Delivery to oversee the daily operations of the Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery departments. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring quality patient care, staff management, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery units
• Supervise nursing staff and support staff development
• Ensure high-quality maternal and neonatal patient care
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and patient flow
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Support patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Assist with budgeting and department performance goals

Requirements

• Current Florida RN License or Compact RN License
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NRP Certification required
• STABLE Certification required
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery management experience required
