Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable RN/LPN to join our clinical team in a Weekender role, providing high-quality care and leadership during weekend shifts. This position is designed for individuals who value consistency, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact when it matters most. As a Weekender Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring continuity of care, supporting team members, and delivering exceptional resident outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans, physician orders, and regulatory standards
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
  • Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions; communicate changes promptly
  • Provide leadership and support to CNAs and other care team members during weekend shifts
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care and positive outcomes
  • Respond to emergencies and make sound clinical decisions with confidence
  • Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations


Qualifications

  • Current, active RN or LPN license in the state of Nebraska
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently while leading a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required
