RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Contract)
Location: California 95240
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (05/26/2026 – 08/24/2026)
Pay: $2,605 – $2,917/week
Schedule:
Night Shift (12-hour shifts)
36–48 hours per week
Weekend rotation required (every other or every 3rd weekend; Fri/Sat nights)
No call required
Occasional floating as needed
Deliver coordinated L&D and postpartum (couplet care) nursing care
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Rotate through LDRP unit (mothers & newborns)
Support deliveries; assist with neonatal stabilization when needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and educate patients/families
Delegate tasks and supervise support staff
Education & Experience:
BSN: Preferred
Acute care experience: Preferred
Licensure & Certifications:
Active RN License (state of practice): Required
BLS/CPR (approved provider): Required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): Required
RNs perform postpartum and couplet care
NICU/Nursery RNs attend deliveries when needed
Vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
